April 4th, 2022 – Chicago, IL – The Casey for US Senate campaign office hosted a meeting last Saturday, April 2nd to kick-start the Polish-Lithuanian Candidate Coalition for the Voice of Ethnic Voters of Illinois. The host, Casey Chlebek, who is one of a Republican Party candidates for US Senate Illinois, welcomed fellow Republican candidates who had a chance to speak about their family history, roots and community connection, as well as presenting their campaign programs. In attendance were:

Joseph Severino for US Congress 10th District
Jim Marter for US Congress 14th District

The Candidate Coalition’s mission is to improve outreach to all ethnic voters by using public/private meetings such as parades/rallies in the ethnic communities and to create a major concerted campaign to voice ethnic groups’ concerns in Springfield and Washington.

Next on the agenda is: to organize our Candidate Coalition meetings with the organizations of various ethnic communities on a cyclical basis, to participate as a Candidate Coalition at major public events/rallies organized by ethnic communities, e.g.: Polish Constitution Day Parade, Mexican Cinco de Mayo parade, etc., to initiate a Facebook account for the Candidate Coalition to help voters monitor our mutual activities and increase our exposure to the general public. The first initiative of the Candidate Coalition is to organize relief for the Ukrainian refugees.
